Founders

Aid Tanzania was founded by Wantay and Tina Irmakesen in December 2007 and is a registered public charity or 501 (c)(3) organization in the US. Wantay is Maasai from the Ngorongoro district of Tanzania. Tina and Wantay met in January 2006 in Tanzania and were married in September 2007. Aid Tanzania provides grants to partner organization, Kiretono Resource Organization. Kiretono, in turn is an NGO, registered in Tanzania which shares Aid Tanzania's mission.
