Programs

Education in Tanzania is advanced through Aid Tanzania's implementing partner, Kiretono Resource Organization (KRO), pastoralist girls aged 11-16 are supported through upper primary school to make a successful transition to secondary school and to a more modern lifestyle. The Scholar Enrichment Program aims to provide the life and leadership skills training and support to help pastoralist girls stay in school and excel, thus making a successful transition from rural life to a more modern and urban lifestyle.

Pastoralist women are supported through the Women's Enterprise Program, a social enterprise providing women with skills training and an opportunity to earn an income, thus relieving poverty among their families and communities.

Kiretono's various health initiatives include access to Safe Drinking Water.

For now, our projects are focused on helping the pastoralist Maasai people of Ngorongoro. Click here to see a list of our accomplishments.
